Hello, thanks for taking the time to visit the site and read my work. With the modern overabundance of news media, it really is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes the most overlooked things can make for the most incredible stories, and everyone has a unique tale to tell. I am always on the lookout for fascinating stories, and if you know of any people, places or events that would make for interesting articles, please let me know.

If you have any questions about the articles on this site, or would like to use them in your publication, please feel free to contact me.

Travels

Over the past year, I've had the good fortune to live in Chicago, Washington D.C. and London, and report from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, France, Ireland and Scotland. Each place has been eye-opening in terms of culture, diversity and hospitality.

If you know of any media outlets, publications, corporations, rich benefactors, etc. who are looking for freelance writers/editors, please let me know. As a writer in a flagging news industry in a "recession," any contacts for possible assignments are welcome ones. I greatly appreciate your help.

News Sources I Really Enjoy:

Here are a few favorities for news content and commentary that I recommend:

BBC - Unmatched for international news coverage.

Time Magazine - Quality in-depth long-form coverage of world issues.

New Scientist - Wonderful magazine and website for interesting science stories.

Po Bronson - Author and journalist who takes the seemingly mundane lives of others and exposes the unique bonds we share.

Anderson Cooper - His 2006 book "Dispatches From the Edge" has inspired me in countless ways. A great read.

If you have any sources you would like to suggest,
please let me know!
